The 4 th of July is the 4 th of July. That is when it is celebrated. Banks, the Post office will be closed and many people will have that day off. So it will be celebrated on the 4 th of July. Check your local newspaper for sales and list of celebration in your home town.

July 4th... it doesn't change. there may be celebrations that take place either the weekend before or after but we always celebrate on the 4th. It's a federal holiday. What weekend we officially consider to be the holiday weekend is up for debate since it falls in the middle of the week this year.

It depends on who's celebration it is. The holiday itself doesn't change, but family gatherings or public events may be anytime before, after or on July 4th.

Check your local papers for fireworks display schedules. Our lake association usually goes for the Saturday prior to the 4th. Some stick to the actual day. Depending on who holds the "celebration" you speak of check with them for their specific dates.
